Build and optimise Apply Kite’s SEO foundation from scratch!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a full SEO audit and fix crawling, indexing, and rendering issues (Next.js).

• Optimise site structure, metadata, URL hierarchy, sitemaps, and internal linking.

• Implement Core Web Vitals improvements.

• Improve page speed, mobile responsiveness, and image SEO.

• Define keyword strategy for landing pages, blogs, and platform content.

• Optimise meta tags, headings, and content structure for search rankings.

• Train the marketing team on best practices for SEO-friendly content creation.

• Develop a backlink strategy targeting academic, research, and high-authority sites.

• Implement guest posting, PR, and community engagement opportunities (Reddit, Quora, etc.).

• Train the Digital Marketing Manager to maintain and scale SEO efforts.

• Provide a step-by-step SEO roadmap and recommended tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).

Requirements:

Proven experience with English language websites

Proven experience in Technical SEO, Next.js SEO optimisation, and content strategy.

Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and site performance tools.

Ability to train and hand off SEO responsibilities to the marketing team.
