About this position
Postdoctoral Research Associate in Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU Medicine)
The Pereira Laboratory in the Department of Radiology is recruiting a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher for a multidisciplinary, NIH-funded program at the interface of molecular imaging, antibody engineering, cancer biology, drug development, and translational oncology. The lab develops next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), molecular imaging agents, and targeted therapeutics to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The role combines experimental and computational research. The successful candidate will design and execute independent projects, develop and evaluate novel antibody conjugates, perform cancer biology studies in cell lines, patient-derived models, and mouse models, and analyze molecular imaging, spatial transcriptomics, and other multi-omics datasets. Experience with R, Python, bioinformatics, spatial biology, or image analysis is especially valuable.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent terminal/doctoral degree. Preferred training includes cancer biology, chemical biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, immunology, bioinformatics, computational biology, chemistry, or a related field. Strong scientific writing, communication, independence, and collaborative skills are emphasized. Candidates with either experimental or computational expertise are encouraged to apply, especially if they are eager to build complementary skills.
This is a full-time postdoctoral position with salary commensurate with experience. The posting does not list a fixed deadline. The position is located on the Washington University Medical Campus in St. Louis, Missouri, United States.
