About this position
Postdoctoral Research Position at Kunsan National University in South Korea.
The Geosystem Lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a project at the intersection of geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, energy geostructures, renewable energy systems, numerical modeling (FEM, FDM, multiphysics), and artificial intelligence / machine learning.
The research will contribute to nationally funded projects on offshore and onshore wind energy support structures, energy geostructures, geothermal systems, and AI-based engineering applications.
Eligibility highlights: Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a related field, strong background in geotechnical engineering, experience with numerical modeling and/or AI, and a good publication record (SCIE journals preferred).
Funding: USD 2,200/month plus performance-based research incentives.
