Postdoc opportunity at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel in the Evolutionary Ecology and Genetics group led by Prof. Dr. Hinrich Schulenburg . This 5-year postdoctoral position is part of the ERC project CrypticBenefits and focuses on the evolution of antimicrobial heteroresistance and broader phenotypic heterogeneity in bacteria. The model organism is the opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa . The research combines evolution experiments , whole-genome sequence analysis , bacterial genetics , and functional analysis , making it a strong fit for candidates interested in experimental evolution, microbial adaptation, and data-driven analysis of antimicrobial resistance evolution.
