Western University’s Hydroclimate Extremes and Climate Change Laboratory (HydroClimEX Lab) is recruiting up to two Postdoctoral Fellows in Hydroclimatic Extremes and Environmental Modelling . The positions are part of multiple funded research projects and involve collaborations with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) , NSERC , and other government, industry, and academic partners. The lab is seeking outstanding researchers with strong quantitative skills and interests in topics such as hydroclimatic extremes , climate change , compound and cascading hazards , climate model analysis , large ensembles , multivariate statistics , extreme value analysis , hydrologic modelling , land-surface modelling , hydrodynamic modelling , and climate risk assessment and adaptation . Successful candidates will join interdisciplinary research with leading collaborators, use advanced computing resources and large climate datasets, and contribute to high-impact work addressing major challenges in climate science and water resources. Institution: Western University, London, Ontario, Canada. Funding: Funded postdoctoral positions; salary/stipend details are not specified in the post. Eligibility highlights: Strong quantitative background and research fit in climate/hydrology/environmental modelling are emphasized. The post is for postdoctoral researchers, so a completed PhD in a relevant field is implied. Application: The post directs applicants to the attached advertisement for full details and the application process.
