Assistant Professor of Linguistics (Corpus Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, or Psycholinguistics)

North Carolina State University is inviting applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Linguistics in the Department of English. The position is open in specialization, with particular interest in candidates working in corpus linguistics (especially syntax, morphology, or the lexicon) or experimental sociolinguistics and/or experimental psycholinguistics . The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s undergraduate major and M.A. concentration through teaching, research, and service. Eligibility highlights: PhD in Linguistics or a closely related field by August 2027; strong record of research and scholarly publication; demonstrated excellence in teaching; and experience in data-informed research.
